 | A German convoy, carrying ammunition and gasoline somewhere in Northern France, has just been strafed by 9th Air Force P-47 pilot Lt. Colonel Louis T. Houck of Todd, North Carolina. Houck approached the convoy at deck level and sprayed it with 50-caliber incendiaries. One vehicle after another burst into flames until the entire convoy was ablaze.
