November 21, 2003 This Japanese bunker on Bryant Hill, Luzon, the Philippines was destroyed with flamethrowers by men of the U.S. Army 25th Infantry Division. The hill was named for a member of the 25th killed in action during the assault on the Japanese positions on the crest. Photo dated March 23, 1945.
