Martha Vickers    Following her modeling career and stint as a "YANK Girl," Martha went to Hollywood, where she married Mickey Rooney in 1949 (and divorced him in 1951). Her most electric and memorable role was as nymphet Carmen Sternwood in 1946's The Big Sleep, opposite Humphrey Bogart. Allegedly, she out-sultried Bacall and many of her scenes ended up on the cutting-room floor because of it.
