Introduction
Welcome to the Skylighters Photographic Guide to U.S. Bases, Camps, and Forts of World War II (including coast artillery sites, debarkation areas, and other military installations of the era). Through photographs and postcards collected by the Webmaster, go back in time and revisit the places where the U.S. Armed Forces were inducted, assigned, trained, and shipped out (and, in some cases, see what the sites look like today). This is a work in progress, so check back frequently for updates. Links will be provided to other web sites that offer more detailed information on a specific installation (if available).
