Searchlight Piercing the Darkness
One of the 225th's 800,000,000 candlepower searchlights pierces the night skies of Europe.
The batallion used its lights as homing beacons for countless aircraft returning from raids
deep inside the Third Reich (photo reproduced from Unit History pamphlet, 1945).
