Ready to Sow A Mine Field U. S. Army Engineers prepare to sow a mine field near Loupershouse, France, 10 January 1945. The engineer at left removes antipersonnel mines from boxes while his comrade at right prepares warning signs. Other engineers, at rear, stack British Mark V antitank mines.
