Boy Meets (Geisha) Girls ...

Marine Lieutenant Robert E. Davis, of Cincinnati, Ohio, peers curiously into a Japanese Geisha establishment in Sasebo, Japan, as he passes by on patrol. Davis was a member of the 5th Marine Division, which at the time (September 1945) was occupying the naval base at Sasebo on the island of Kyushu. Official USMC photo by Tech. Sgt.
