The World War II Photo of the Week for 17 July 2000 Moby Dick Takes to the Skies Captain Paul Gottke's B-24 Liberator Moby Dick, a veteran of more than 100 missions with the 90th Bomb Group, the "Jolly Rogers," heads for Japanese targets with a belly full of TNT. The 90th flew Liberators with General George Kenney's 5th Air Force in the Southwest Pacific during World War II. From the Webmaster's collection.
