Hey Debarkees! Remember this Scene?
A GI bound for the European Theatre (probably not ... this is a staged photo) stands at the gangway of a troopship at Hampton Roads, Virginia. Lines of men would stand at signs like this all over the embarkation area loaded down with equipment, waiting for their name to be called.
