MEDIC EARNS BRONZE STAR

Combat medic Capt. (Dr.) Harold Klocksheim, of Paton, Iowa, receives
the Bronze Star for tending to wounded for 60 hours without sleep
under withering enemy fire during the initial D-Day landings. The award is being presented by Maj. Gen. Robertson, Commander
of the 2nd Infantry Division. Once again, with hedgerows in the background, we're "somewhere in France" (June 19, 1944).
