THE SNAKE'S BACK

Resembling the skeletal remains of some giant serpent, hundreds
of dragon's teeth obstacles making up a stretch of the Seigfried
Line seem to go on forever on this portion of the German frontier.
The photo was taken from a U.S. reconnaissance plane in 1944.
