Just the Uniforms Have Changed

U.S. GIs are shown digging in somewhere in Belgium prior to the Battle of the Bulge. Ironically, this platoon did not have much digging to do since they're occupying pre-existing World War I trenches that were left over from the Great War. This particular trench line had not been completely filled in over the course of the 26 years since the end of that conflict. Some of the men are wearing their hair Mohawk-style, but they don't look like paratroopers.
