A DC-3 military transport plane takes off from a landing strip built by U.S. Navy Seabees in the Russell Islands, under the watchful eyes of a 40mm antiaircraft gun crew. Note that the gun crew has nick-named their gun "Stinky" and painted the name on the gun's barrel housing (just to right of man standing in gun pit).
