Members of the 1st Infantry Regiment, 6th Infantry Division, are shown being armed with weapons confiscated by the Chief of Police of Ogdensburg, New York. The regiment was ill-armed as there were not enough weapons issued to go around, and the civilian weapons including BB guns, .22-caliber rifles, shotguns, and high-powered hunting rifles were handed out for the First Army War Games being held in the vicinity. See the Nov. 23 photo for a picture from the same series.
