A warehouse worker moves among stacks of Mauser K-98 German rifles captured by the British First Airborne Division after their relocation to Norway at the end of the war. Some 30,000 weapons were stored in the building. After a short spell in Norway, the 1st Airborne was disbanded, and many of its units amalgamated into the 6th Airborne Division and dispatched to the Far East.
