The wreck of the USS Arizona settles into the sand of Pearl Harbor, three days after the Japanese attack. Nine minutes after a 1,760-pound armor-piercing bomb slammed through her deck and ignited her forward ammunition magazine, she sank with 1,177 of her crew.
