Stolen Lives ...
   A few of the thousands of wedding rings the Germans removed from their victims to salvage the gold. U.S. troops found rings, watches, precious stones, eyeglasses, and gold fillings, near Buchenwald concentration camp. Photo taken May 5, 1945, from the collection of the National Archives and Records Administration, Records of the Office of the Chief Signal Officer (No. 111-SC-206406).
