The Tom Ensminger
YANK Cover & Pinup Collection

Back in 1945, a GI couldn't wait to get his hands on a copy of YANK ... in each issue there was a delicious slice of cheesecake (not the kind that mother used to make, however!). Well, we've made it easy to find the pinup page without thumbing through all that "filler" ... just pass your mouse cursor over each cover to reveal the YANK pinup girl beneath! Hold your mouse on the girl to keep her in view. Thanks for these images go to Tom Ensminger, the historian for the 801st/492nd Bomb Group for his generous contribution to the visual history of YANK Magazine! Make a selection from the Main Menu below, click on each girl, or use the slideshow controls at the bottom to advance from cover to cover.
